Dasies and smartasses

Francios glanced over at the little girl that had just skipped over toward him. With a groan, he rolled his eyes and looked back at the daisy. "What do you think it's called, little girl? It's the amphitheater." He told her while studying the daisy.

Françios smirked. "Eros is the god of erotic love and desire. He's the son of Aphrodite and Ares." He told her. "And not just homosexuals. Bisexuals and pansexuals too." He stood up and put a daisy behind her ear. "And relationships aren't for me let alone marriage." Françios hated to say it, but it was true. He wassure that most people only saw him as a hookup and he was...okay with that.

The Afro-French giggled. Maybe this kid wasn't so bad after all. "No, silly. Pansexual is being attracted to anyone. Like whether they're non-binary..." He trailed off. "Oh, gods, Wren Rose, explaining sexuality to you would be like you trying to teach me genetics or something." Françios smiled a bit. "You're right, marriage is super hard. Even for the gods." He tapped his chin. "I ate my fruits and vegetables."

"Non-binary is someone who is doesn't idenfiy as a male or female." Françios told her. If Françios tried to explain the whole concept of sexuality and gender to this daughter of Athena, then they might be there all day and into the night. It was already five in the afternoon. "Do you want me to describe my sexuality to you? That'll take less time." His French accent coated his words like sweet nectar from the honeysuckle flower. "No, no. Actual fruits and vegabtables. Though sometimes, I do become someone's snack." He winked playfully at Wren Rose. "How many languages do you know?"

Françios thought about it. "Essentially, yes." He took in a deep breath and stuffed his hands into his back pockets. "I'm pansexual. I find everyone attractive, but just between you and me," Françios bent down and whispeeed in her ear, "I like guys way more." He stood up straight and giggled. Françios couldn't remember the last time he was this nice to someone at camp. "I'll explain it when you're a few years older, Wren Rose." He smiled and squared down to pick a few flowers. He started to fashion the flowers into a crown. "Spanish, french, Italian are all languages of love, I should know." The son of Eros grinned. "Where are you from?"

Françios eyes went wide. "What?' No, no! Not little kids I mean every gender." He clarified. "People my own age or a little order depending..." The son of Eros chuckled. "And boys may be gross now, but wait till you get older. Though, you might turn out to be a lesbian." He mumbled the last part. "New Haven, Connecticut? Sounds a little familiar." He told her, tapping his chin.

"Too many. There's new genders born everyday and even I can't keep track of them all." The son of Eros smirked and shook his head. "...You're a bit too young for that conversation and I don't wish to scare you." Francios chuckled and placed the flowercrown on her head Now she was a pretty princess who asked too many questions.

Francios sighed and shook his head. "No, well, generally speaking people are born with just two different parts." He shook his head and looked at Wren Rose for a while before sighing. "The mouth is more than just talking and eating." He told her. "But the details I will keep to myself."

The son of Eros raised an eyebrow. "It's because you're too young now stop throwing a fit." He placed his hands on his waist. "I'll tell you when you're seven years older and by then, I'll be twenty one so it'll still be creepy."

"It's not that we don't want you to know it's just you're too young to understand anything about sex." Francios pointed out. "Explaining it to you wouldn't make any sense, anyway, Wren Rose."
