Day at the beach

Konstantin was shuffling cards in his hands, as he always did when he was stressed. It was either that or math equations, that kept his mind at peace. He had no idea what he was doing at the beach. Well, maybe some idea. The beach sometimes had cute girls and guys he might catch a glimpse of. He was staring at the horizon, sighing alone, as the beach was almost empty.

Almost as if summoned by his sigh, the beauty that was Cherry Ashlynn Bliss Crews appeared on the beach, her hair shining in the sunlight like a beacon. She was wearing a two-piece suit that emphasized her assets. Dropping her bag, she would begin setting up a large beach blanket, towel, Umbrella, Beach Chair and a cooler of drinks and snacks. She was always prepared.

Upon spotting Kons, she'd offer a wave in greeting.

Konstantin was staring at some figure, who then appeared to be a girl. What was better, it was an attractive girl! He was slowly studying what she was doing. It seemed like she had all under control.
The boy registered a wave and looked around him. Oh right, there was pretty much no one in here, so the wave must have been for him.
Konstantin waved lightly back, and smiled innocently.

She caught the smile, and smiled back. "You look bored out here all by yourself. Been waiting for company long?" She'd pull some lotion out of her bag. "Maybe you can help me put this lotion on?" Was she teasing him? Probably. She was pretty diabolical at times. But yeah, there were some areas that were hard to apply lotion to by one's self. She could just use the spray-on stuff, but she preferred the lotion.

Konstantin instantly smelled a trap from far away. He was not falling for i0, at least he tried not to. He stopped shuffling his cards and simply stared with his gunmetal blue eyes. "I'm not going to do that, it's going to make me look like a pervert or something." Konstantin explained to the girl.

She'd roll her eyes. "Did it ever occur to you that I actually wanted some help? Or are you thinking I'm judging you because of who your Dad is, Kons?" Yeah, she knew his name. She'd been at the Camp for a few years. Annoyed by how lazy he appeared to be, she'd start applying the lotion to herself, grumbling about the spots she couldn't reach.

Konstantin felt a bit weird. He had seen the girl before, as he had been in the camp for 5 years now. He didn't remember introducing himself to her, nor did he remember the girls name. Konstantin also found it strange for her to call him 'Kons', since in Russia it was not common for strangers to call you by a nickname.
"If you insist to call me by a nickname, then please call me Kostya." he said and tilted his head like a lost puppy or an owl. "I'll help you if you seem to be struggling so much." so called Kostya stood up and walked over the girl.

She'd sigh in relief that she was finally getting some help. Once he got there, she'd hand him the bottle of lotion and lay down so he could get the spots on her backside that she couldn't easily get to. "Thanks, Kostya." It was a strange nickname, to be sure. She briefly wondered if there was some cost involved.

"Ah god damn it I can't do it." he yelped and looked at the sky, as if he was looking for help from the gods. The son of Hermes put down the bottle and sighed. "You can't force me, can you?" he tried convincing himself. Well, obviously she's the daughter of Aphrodite so I don't know what I'm really talking about.
So called Kostya sat down on the sand and just stared at the water, probably trying to play hard to get. Not that it was really working.

She'd blink and look at him in confusion. "Are you okay?" She was legit concerned, something she rarely let show. Then he asks if she can force him. She'd sigh. "I could, but but that wouldn't be fair to you. Besides, I don't like to use my Charmspeaking... Or any of my abilities...." Yeah, F you mom. Stupid worthless Mom. She'd move to join him, and casually leaned into him.

"Yeah I'm alright. It's just super weird." he laughed. He was kind of surprised she wouldn't use such an advantage. Konstantin was super happy he was a Hermes kid though. "You could achieve a lot of stuff if you used it." he said what exactly was running in his mind.
The boy felt a light weight on his shoulder. "You're giving me a static shock." he was surprised that the girl who he just met was so comfortable around him. Usually Kostya would get turned down in a second and he would laugh it off before moving to the next one.

"Oh, I am?" She'd back off, so he wasn't getting shocked. "My bad..." She'd sigh. "Yeah, I could achieve a lot of things, but... Mom and I don't really get along.." She was being quite honest. "I'm pretty sure I'm an accident, or something. I have like nothing in common with my siblings."

"I'm pretty sure almost everyone in this camp is an accident." he tried to make a joke, probably failing. He didn't really see a reason to be mad at gods. Konstantin found it strange to not use the gifts you're given. "Well, I guess everyone is different." he shrugged and tried to look like he didn't really care.

She'd cautiously approach him again, not wanted to shock him. Not entirely sure why, but she felt comfortable around him. "Can I ask you a question?" Her eyes appeared to be pleading to him. Also, she was very attractive...

Konstantin tried averting his eyes from the girl but it was nearly impossible. "Sure, just going to hope it's nothing too personal." he hated that kind of 'personal' stuff. He was here usually to just have fun, even though he did enjoy socializing in moderation.

"Oh, it's nothing important. I was just curious as to if you had any interest in me. Because maybe we could date?" For a Daughter of the Goddess of Love, she was terrible at it. But she was used to that, actually. She was pretty sure all of her siblings from her Mother hated her, and that she didn't deserve to be alive.
