Personality: Lafayette hates his first name which is why he goes by “Shamir”. To him, his middle name sounds way more masculine. That’s also why he follows the god, Onuris also known as Anhur. He was debating following Bast, but decided against it. Shamir enjoys fighting in the arena, hanging out in his room, and taking time out to sit out by the pool. He tends to act without thinking. He is currently working on that. He trains with Isaiah, a follower of Sekhmet. Shamir was a secret, however. He’s bisexual and tries to hide it with masculinity. Though, he has a weakness to flamboyant males with nice butts (sue him). Shamir is all around a good guy who is trying to keep is sexuality under wraps.

History: Lafayette Shamir Deveraux was born on March 12th, 1996. Both of his parents knew of Egyptian magic, but knew that they didn’t want Lafayette getting involved in that, but when they noticed that he might be good at it, they allowed him. They sent him to first nome to train at the age of fifteen. It was at the point in his life when he discovery his sexuality.

While training in divine words, Lafayette came across his best friend. After a few months of friendship, the two kissed and Lafayette was totally freaked out. He avoided him as much as he could until he moved to the twenty-first nome at Brooklyn House.

At eighteen, he decided to follow the path of slayer of enemies, Ahnur. He thought about following Horus, but realized that it would be a little cliche.  

Everything was going fine until he noticed a Middle Eastern follower of Isis named, Kayden. The one that stood out to him was the magician’s ass. Of course he never said anything about it in fear that his sexuality will be exposed. Instead, he attended strip clubs, and married himself in a few slings to stop the feelings he felt.
