Lennie had a busy morning, teaching recruits how to fight was exhausting, but she was always more than happy to do it. Each recruit that knew how to fight was a step close to the bigger picture, and it didn't hurt to help strengthen Cohort Five as an individual unit. Her Centurion insisted that "they were all one Legion, but Cohort Five was the best part of it." She knew that wasn't how most people saw it, but she was more than happy to fight for that cause.

The Little Tiber was a sacred icon to Camp Jupiter, and many people liked to spend their time there. Lennie was certainly no exception. With a broad smile on her face, she approached the river, respecting its boundaries. Christian liked to do pilum foundation training with rookies here. He'd tell them that if the pilum didn't make it passed the river, they would be cursed by water gods.

He was a jerk. But, he was a good jerk.

Lennie spotted a girl who looked vaguely familiar to her. "Hi, excuse me!" Lennie called out in a voice that was as sweet as honey. "Have I seen you in the Fields of Mars before?"

Lottie heard a voice, and turned. She didn't offer a smile, she kind of just stood there. If she recognized Lennie, she gave no actual indication. "I dunno. Maybe. Depends on my mood." Dressed in paint-splattered, thread-bare ragged clothes, the only thing clean about her was her hair and teeth. There wasn't any cheer in her voice, nor was there in her eyes or facial expression. Her body language was that of someone who has given up. Her long hair was in an extremely messy ponytail that looked like it was going to be neat and was given up on about immediately.
