History:
Luke was born in France, in an American military hospital because his mother, Noelle was a 2nd Lt. in the Army, and had been stationed in France. Luke spent the first five years of his life living on a family base in France. Shortly after Luke's fifth birthday his mom retired from the Army, and they moved back to her home town in Georgia.

Life in Georgia was in no way easy for Luke. His mom, Noelle was cheated out of a job that had been promised to her upon her discharge from the military, and that left them homeless for about two months. And having no place to go, because Noelle's parents who were extremely conservative, had disowned her for having a child, Luke and Noelle lived in a car for over a year, before she finally found a day job as a waitress, and a night job as a stripper, and made enough money to rent a cheap apartment.

When Luke was eight, Noelle met a business man who just got out of a supposedly nasty marriage, named Eric who seemed to have been their ticket out of their poverty lifestyle. After two years of dating Eric asked Noelle to marry him. The two married a few weeks later in a small ceremony, with only Luke and Eric's two daughters, and some of their friends as the witness's.

However things quickly changed after the marriage, but only for Luke. Noelle was cluelessly lost in the bliss of not having to work as a waitress or stripper anymore, and as far as she was concerned, Eric was a knight in shining armor.

Luke's new dad however, was sexually and physically abusive of Luke and his two step-sisters. He never told his mom, not wanting to ruin her happiness. Not that he would've wanted to either, Eric had threatened them that if they ever told, that he would kill them all, including Noelle.

However, one night, Noelle woke up in the middle of the night to get a drink of water. It was only around 12pm, and seeing that her husband wasn't in bed yet, she had assumed that he was still on his way home from a business meeting. She had made her way out into the hallway, and headed towards the bathroom. She quietly passed past her youngest step-daughters room, in order to not wake the child, but as she passed by she noticed that the door was open, and the light was still on. Noelle had rolled her eyes, and opened the door, assuming the book-loving child had ignored her order to go to sleep. Instead she found her husband, in bed with the girl.... She gasped loudly, at the horror of finding her husband sexually abusing his own daughter. This of course prompted Eric to turn around, after that, everything turned to chaos...

Luke woke up to the screaming that pursued after Noelle discovered the "family secret." Later on in life he decidedly, thought that maybe things would've turned out different if he hadn't stuck his head out his bedroom door to see what the commotion was. His younger step-sister, Emily, was screaming for help, as his step-father was using his fist to bash their mom's face in. His mom's eyes landed on him for half a second, and she urged him, and his older step-sister, Mara to take Emily and run. Which they did.

Luke found out via a newspaper report that their mom had been killed. Luke and his sisters lived on the streets for three months, before social services found them. The three of them were split up, and sent to different foster homes, they kept in touch for a while, but eventually they all lost contact with each other, and Luke never saw either Emily or Mara ever again.

At the age 12 Luke was taken by Lupa and her wolves, and eventually sent to Camp Jupiter. He became an Centurion of the fifth cohort, and held the position until he retired from the legion, and passed the job onto Christian. He now lives on the NRU campus, and is majoring in business.
