"Almost there?" The southern accent was as thick as ever, natural to the body, all of these new voices were still easing into his head as "familiar." He was close to feeling normal around Camp Half-Blood.

"Almost there." Andrew confirmed. "Tracks are more whole. The more whole the shape is, the fresher the tracks. Of course, this is all stuff for you to learn. I just know we're close because the lady." Andrew referred to this partner with great affection. Netha didn't bother to acknowledge. "Speaking of cold-hearted killer ladies, you go to the Zeus cabin, like, daily. You guys doing car battery stuff in there?"

"What? Dominika?" Dimitri asked. He didn't exactly understand the question. "What do you mean? She's my friend." Dimitri insisted as the pair continued their trek. They left the dirt path, walking into the shrub of the forest. Andrew was the tracker. All Dimitri could do was follow.

"No, I get it, you're fake news." Andrew replied. The two continued through the shrub, and Dimitri didn't feel like his was in particular danger, until a hand suddenly pushed him back with force. He hardly managed to stay standing, when he looked back at the boy who pushed him. "Bear trap. Watch your step. Unless you want your leg to look like spaghetti." Andrew said.

Dimitri was about to thank him, when all three in the party apparently heard the fierce growl not far from them.

"Don't do it." Andrew warned. Dimitri felt the pull though, he couldn't help but feel he was supposed to go towards the monster. He needed experience. So he ran towards it. "So he does it." Andrew sheepishly mumbled to Netha.

Viktoria hadn't had a solids night sleep in months. She hadn't eaten much at all. Only what she could manage to get from samples or scrounging around for change. The Russian had barely made it out of Russia alive, and now she was wandering around in America trying to find this place called Camp Half Blood.

The satyr that had found her died outside of the airport as she waited to board the flight to America. She used up almost every bit of money she had to purchase the one way flight. That left her with scarce funds now. The daughter of Zeus only had a small knife given to her by the satyr to keep her safe. Ever since she's used it to kill monsters trying to attack her and to try and kill animals in order to have something to eat.

At this moment in time she was face to face with yet another monster. This one looked a big stronger than some of the others she had encountered. It was quite massive and blood was dripping from it's mouth. Whatever kind of monster this was, it wasn't friendly and it had just ended some other being's life. Viktoria gripped the knife in her hand and was waiting for it to strike.

She wasn't in good enough condition to be on the offensive. She had multiple wounds over her body and she was fairly certain she sprained her left ankle already. In a few seconds the growl came and apparently so did a boy.

It probably only took Dimitri in the realm of twenty seconds to reach where the noise had come from. There they were, a slightly younger girl who clearly had seen better days. He saw a tiny knife in her hand, he recognized it. There was also what almost looked like a bipedal frogman, and not in any humorous way. It was slouched, but still probably in the area of eight feet tall. Its teeth certainly weren't reminiscent of a frog; they looked like they were rows and columns, like a crocodile, but as long and sharp as a wolf's.

Dimitri wasn't kidding himself. Get caught in that thing's mouth, you're a dead man. Still, he didn't have any ranged weapons. If there was anything he'd learned about close-quarters combat with monsters, it was that your best bet was to literally throw your weight at them. Dimitri did that, and he was successful in taking the thing down. He raised his knife up, and was ready to plunge it into the back of this thing's head, then suddenly a slimy substance gripped Dimitri's wrist, holding it back.

This thing hadn't had a tail a moment ago. Dimitri knew it.

Then, he was thrown down to the ground after being raised in the air, and the disgusting looking creature turned it's head back to Dimitri, it's teeth closing into it's prey. Then, suddenly, an arrow pierced it's eye before it poofed into golden dust.

"YOU are an idiot," Andrew fired at Dimitri. "and YOU are going to tell me whatever you think you just saw." Andrew didn't take mortals dipping into the affairs beyond them well. His sister had been forced into it, and now he wasn't ever going to see her again. Even with that horrible factor, he was still one of the lucky ones. Other mortals who found out about the real world didn't have to leave their families the same way. They left the world for good, to live with Hades.

Netha had positioned herself defensively in front of Andrew. "She has celestial bronze." Dimitri interjected standing in a neutral stance. They'd saved her. Why leave her there now?

Viktoria hadn't expected people to come out of no where. She also didn't expect that the one who came into view first jumped onto the monster. The whole series of events went by faster than she could imagine. When she saw the beast nearing the boy it had just flung off it, she began to limp her way over to try and get the monster's attention instead.

Before she could even do anything an arrow whizzed by and lodged itself into the eyeball of the beast and soon it burst into dust. Much like they all did. The person who had shot the arrow came into view and didn't seem like the friendliest sort of human, but Viki wasn't a stranger to cruelty in humans. She had seen it multiple times, more so all in one person. Pavel was a waste of space, but fortunately enough she took care of it. If she had to, she could take care of this guy too.

"I think I saw the same thing as everyone else here. I've had a few monsters like that cross my path in the last couple of weeks." The girl said with her Russian accent heavily laced through her words. "Sometimes they're friendlier than humans, believe it or not."

"Yeah, a friendly human is usually thankful when their life is saved." Andrew returned her insult. To Dimitri, it was no insult at all, but Andrew's interpretation begged to differ. He didn't like how this was going.

"Andrew, you don't gotta go 'round bein' like that." Dimitri was quick to defend the girl. He couldn't help but feel guilt. She clearly had been through tough trials, the last thing she needed was to be denied help.

"You don't 'gotta go 'round' acting like a white knight." Andrew fired back, mocking Dimitri's southern accent. He didn't have a second arrow notched, but his bow was still in his hands, and Netha was still in a defensive stance in front of her.

"We should take'er back with us." Dimitri spoke calmly, giving the girl a glance. He didn't want her to feel like they were treating her like an object. He was on her side, but she was still her own part.

"Are you a human? Or something else?" Andrew still wasn't convinced she was a demigod, much less, even on their side. Monsters disguised themselves constantly. This was why Andrew hated being company. Their blood would be on his hands. Unless, the company was at least attractive. But Dimitri didn't fit his criteria.

"If I wanted to, I could have taken on the monster myself. I've done just find so far." Viktoria snapped back to the shorter boy of the two. The expression on her face cold. She didn't need someone coming in here and telling her who she was and who she wasn't.

"Well I always thought I was human, but then Mr.Satyr goat boy or whatever informed me I wasn't fully human. So you know, there's that. I'm looking for a camp, he told me to look for hit before he died." Viktoria explained. She wasn't happy about explaining it to people she didn't know if she could trust or not, but she was going to have to take a leap of faith. They did just kill the monster for her.

"You can shoot an arrow to my knee to test if I'm a monster if you want. I don't care. I'm already fairly banged up. Being pierced with an arrow would be the cherry on top."

"You've 'done fine?' You look about about as fine as someone who goes to Planned Parenthood six times a year." The demigod wasn't willing to back down. Dimitri might have tried to speak in her defense, but he didn't have any idea what "planned parenthood" was. Still, she was looking for a camp. Dimitri figured that meant they had a match for a demigod.

Andrew lowered his bow, only offering a shrug. "Okay, you said I could do it." He raised his bow back up. "Who am I to decline popping a cherry?" Even in a moment of moral dilemma, Andrew still made his coy comment. Then, he had his arrow notched in an instant, and he pulled and released, all in one fast motion, leaving an arrow to fly at a rapid speed away from him.

Ironically, it was Andrew's coy comment that gave Dimitri the moment to act, rushing to push Andrew, though he'd barely made it. At the last second, the arrow was directed away, only grazing her leg, where it would have penetrated before. It left a flustered Andrew pushing the other demigod back.

"Maybe I have been to planned parenthood six times a year, you don't know me." Viktoria shot back. The comments he made didn't bother her in the slightest. She had dealt with plenty of boys who ran their mouths before. She's dealt with the biggest monster of all too. The daughter of Zeus watched as he began to set up his bow and aim at her.

"You wouldn't decline to pop a cherry because you probably don't get a lot of offers as is." The girl said in response. Viktoria was usually quick witted and had a comment for just about anything someone could say to her. Whether people wanted to hear that comment that was a whole different story.

The moment Andrew began to shoot the arrow, Dimitri attempted to push him, which had the arrow graze her knee and burrow somewhere in the ground or bush near by. In the instant she already knew her opinion of the other boy. He didn't know a lot of the world and its harsh realities. He was too good and too pure in her eyes. He might be older, but Viktoria was fairly sure he was new to the world and the experiences it would shove his way.

"So which way to camp?"

"Tip of advice, lady Putin, Americans aren't as loosey goosey as your people." Andrew hurled the insult at her without hesitation. "Also, tip of advice for you too, John Wayne, Russians aren't the sort of people you want to trust." He said. Glancing back at the girl before looking at him. "No clue why you attract them like a magnet." He muttered, leaving a somewhat dazed Dimitri in the middle of both of them.

"Camp's back east." Dimitri answered, attempting to remain neutral. A glance to Andrew's wolf didn't settle him though, she stood in front of him, clearly ready to attack if need be. He looked to their new recruit. "What should we be caliin' you?" Dimitri requested her name, leaving a disgruntled Andrew to roll his eyes.

"Lady Putin? Thank you. Feel free to call me that at any time." She said. Even if it had offended the girl she would have let it roll off her back and probably would have made a similar comment. Viktoria actually felt complimented at the nickname. "Does he hang out with a lot of Russians?" Viktoria asked when she heard the one make comment about the other attracting them like magnets. Viktoria wasn't sure how many Russians were even in America.

Viktoria looked around to assess where she was. Camp was back east apparently. She had been going east a little bit, but obviously not enough. She hadn't made it to camp yet. "You can call me Viktoria, what about you guys?" She asked. It would be easier to have names to refer to the others as. She could make up names for the two of them too if she had to.
