Sandy Beaches (P)

Ah, the beach. Bruno loved the beach. He came here whenever he had the chance to. The Brazilian demigod was currently building a sandcastle about a foot above where the water kissed the shore. He loved this part of the beach for several different reasons. It was around noon, but the heat didn't bother him. The son of Psamathe was used to it since he lived in Brazil for most of his life.

Cassia glanced up from her book. She loved the the sound of the waves. It was very peaceful, and Cassia was always looking for peaceful places to read her book. In a camp full of fighting, peace was heard to find. Other campers played in the surf, but Cassia ignored them. Instead, she continued to read with Channery the hellhound sitting by her side.

"Aw man!" Bruno washed as the tide came in a little closer than usual and washed away his sandcastle. The son of Psamathe pouted for a bit before standing up from the sand and looked over the beach. There were a few people here and there, but no one who was actually out except for one person that was reading. He was sure that he hadn't seen her so he decided to go up and say hey. "Hey, I'm Bruno. My sandcastle washed away. Do you want to help me make a new one?"

Cassia gently closed her book as she heard a voice. She knew it was directed to her, as there weren't many people on the beach. The question startled her a little. Cassia wasn't used to being spoken too. She wasn't exactly a social person. "Umm.. sure," Cassia responded. She realized she hadn't introduced herself, and he probably had no idea who she was. "I'm Cassia, Daughter of Thanatos."

Bruno smiled widely. "Really?! Yay! Awesome!" The Brazilian smiled more and walked back to where he was sitting. "It's nice to meet you, Cassia."
