Personality: Maya isn't exactly shy, but observant. She prefers to listen than speak and doesn't talk never much. She is extremely smart and is always trying to learn new things about monsters. She generally wants to help others and uses her knowledge to do so. She is more brain than brawn.

Talents: Maya is an excellent weaver, is great at any type of schooling (math, science, etc.).

Flaws (at least three): Needs more confidence. She always has trouble saying her ideas and thoughts, no matter how brilliant they are. She needs to learn to be more trusting. She never lets people in and it makes her an outcast among the other campers.

Weapon (Celestial bronze/Imperial gold/Egyptian bronze): Celestial bronze spear that she got when she first came to camp, but she never uses it and it just sits propped against her bed.

Abilities: A quick learner, great weaver, photographic memory.

Powers: None.

History: Maya grew up with her mother in a little house on a big farm. Maya was always studying and never really got out of the house. One day out of the blue when Maya was twelve, her mother told her to pack her backs because she was going to a summer camp for kids like her and Maya was ready. Maya thought she meet dyslexic and ADHD, which never really affected her very much, but it ended up being a camp of demigods. She was claimed by Athena and still goes and visits her mother every winter to go to school and comes back to CHB for the summer.

Likes: Reading, writing, studying, battle-plans, helping people, proving she is right.

Hobbies: Weaving, reading.

Dream job: Maya had always wanted to be a lawyer, mostly because she liked to argue and she was on the debate team back in Tennessee, but she always had trouble speaking in front of people.

What do they want the most in life right now?: Fun. Maya had started to feel like she was missing out on fun while trying to cram her brain full of information.

Secrets: That she actually liked spiders. Spiders never liked her, but she was never afraid of them. She found them fascinating.

Worst fear: Not knowing something.  

Ideal boyfriend/girlfriend: Someone who is smart and not afraid to argue with her. But she would also like someone more brave than her and confident.

Insecurities: Her big glasses that she needs to were because she has horrible vision and not being smarter than everyone else in the room.

Former/current relationships: No real friendships.

How parents met: Her mothers meet while Gabriella was in a conference in Cleveland about environmental protection acts and bumped into Athena outside the office building and they got to talking and hit it off.

So, this is something that's always an awkward reason not to approve a form, but babies are made....with a male and a female. Athena may be a little more confusing in the aspect she has kids with her mind, but still, I'd prefer for, to avoid confusion, her to have a father. (Maybe if you wanted, a scenario where her father gave her to her aunt after birth or something, Spiderman esque)

But Athena's kids are made through thought, so they technically don't need the parts to make a baby.

I guess that's true, but I still somehow think it's necessary for Athena to do it to have children, or else her kids would just be like, gods, and she wouldn't need mortals.

But the kids are sprouted with a single thought, so they wouldn't need type of that. But it might be the thoughts of two people combined to make a child of Athena

Maybe, but still, every Athena child that I know of, canon, has a father. I don't know how it exactly works, nor do I sit around thinking about Athena's children being born xD, but just for the sake of not being confusing, I think it'd be better to just make it so there was some guy involved in the equation.

I say yes to Athena having a kid with a mother. Because quite frankly, it'd be possible with how Athena children happen. I was definitely going to make a character like that at one point and it is original. I want to see more original and creative ideas on here.
