Emmett ruffled his hair. "I don't remember that, but it does sound kind of amusing." he laughed. "It's just that you guys are fun suckers. Too sophisticated and all that." Emmett grinned at the siblings. "Anyways, how long have we walked already? Let's just go back." he started whining, as always.

"Exhibit A as of why you don't go on morning walks with us. We still have three blocks to go, plus the walk back. The lake's over there, why don't you swim around while you wait for us," Carter said.

"Fun suuuckeer." Emmett continued to tease Carter. It was almost like an hobby for him. "And no, it's too cold today, that means no cute girls." he said, silently praying that they would just quickly arrive home.

"We know how to have fun.... Or at least I know how to have fun..." Sophia mumbled, "AND WHY DO GIRLS HAVE TO BE THERE FOR YOU TO SWIM? HUH?" Sophia yelled, definitely a little of feminist side showing.

Carter rolled his eyes at his brother. Before he could even comment on the fact that there were tons of girls that still went out on cold days, for boating, his sister freaked out. He let out a sigh. When his sister entered this mode, it wasn't pretty. Carter quietly started walking off in the opposite direction before they started arguing.

"You're not that much better." he mumbled to Sophia.
"Think Sophia, think." Emmett tapped his forehead. "All guys do it, even Carter." he pointed him.
Emmett was ready to run away from Sophia's beatings.

"Oh so you just happen to think that you getting shirtless the reason girls go to the beach. You think that, that is the only way you could possibly pick up a girl? The only way? WHAT EVER HAPPENED TO CONVERSATIONS AND BEING A NICE PERSON?!" She said, "Seriously? Have you guys picked up on anything about girls in the past fourteen years you've known me?"

Emmett pretended not to hear her as he was already running after Carter. "We should get breakfast by the way, I wan't pancakes." he said. "And my nose still hurts so pity me."

"Shhhhhh, just run and shut up, we need to get there before her so we can lock her out," Carter raced to the door, quickly getting his key and opening it.

Sophia was already running after them. She wasn't slow, "Oh lock me out huh?" She said, reaching them.

Emmett laughed as he ran like a child. "Quick quick, OPEN IT!" he tried to cheer his brother as Sophia was approaching. "I think I have to hold her off." he giggled and stood in a X position protecting the door.

Sophia just stood there once she had caught up with them, she crossed her arms and yawned. She knew something that they didn't seem to remember. "You really think I can't flatten you on the ground?"

Carter went in the house and locked them both out. He smiled, satisfied, and went to go make himself eggs. He took his key and threw it under the front door. "Winner gets to come inside."

While Sophia was talking, they both got locked out. He looked Sophia in her eyes. "Break the door shall we?" he chuckled.

"I have a key. You idiots." She said, ignoring the key on the ground. She quickly unlocked the door, walked in and shut and locked the door again.

"Well, I have a key too!" he started searching his pockets for suspiciously long. "Darn it." he grunted. "Well, here goes nothing." he started kicking the door with with frightening force.

"Why'd you kick the door down, when Carter had passed the key underneath the door?" Sophia asked, innocently while she mixed a bowl of pancake batter.

"You see, I'm rather nearsighted." he lied. "Oh pancakes! You did that for me? Aaawh!" Emmett clings to his sister's hand, disturbing her work. "You see Carter, this is why Sophia's my favorite sister." he said proudly.

"I'm your only sister!" Sophia says, struggling to keep the bowl in her hand from spilling everywhere. "Let go! You're going to make me drop it, then you won't have any pancakes!"
