The infirmary??

Why doesn't she leave? he thought to himself and collected the pieces. Edwin gathered the pieces on the table and got back on his bed.

"So, you know, I've been wondering. Not that I care but, ya know, curiosity. How is it to live in such a pathetic state?" I asked teasingly, raising an eyebrow in question

"Do you enjoy seeing me angry or what?" Edwin slit his eyes and stood up approaching the girl. "You don't want to get me angry." he said.

"Oh no, I think it would be actually very, very fun to watch" I replied and stood up as well, crossing my arms and raising an eyebrow in challenge

Edwin grabbed the girls wrist and put it above her head and pinned it against the wall. He didn't hurt the girl, but it was enough to show that he wouldn't take more of her bs. "I think you were so focused on talking so much that you didn't hear. I asked you nicely, but now you're getting on my nerves. Just shut up." he said in a stern voice.

I slowly looked up at my hands before returning my eyes to his, a wide grin spreading on my face. "Finally. I knew you had it in you, kid, but I had to make sure. There you go now"

Edwin let her wrist go and sat back on his bed, pretending nothing happened. "Tch." was the only sound he produced, expressing his frustration. "Ya know you're stubborn, right? You said you wanted to leave." he said and looked at the wall.

I chuckled and reached over to ruffle his hair. "Nah, I ain't leaving you in your condition. What if the crazy goat comes back and tries to kill you?"

Edwin really liked when his hair was ruffled in a fatherly manner, even though he would not admit it. He would not stop her nor encourage her to do it more. "A short way ticket to my dad's place." Edwin tried to make a joke. "But seriously, what are we going to do about the goat?" he sighed.

"Dunno. I suggest having goat for dinner on Sunday, although I don't know what Chiron has to say about that"I gave him a slight smile before frowning. "I might not have meant everything I said about you. Your powers are pretty cool, you know"

"I don't really take stuff to the core. Unless it's something to do with the damn goat." Edwin said with a stoic voice and face. "I want to get out of this depressing infirmary." Edwin started biting his nails, as he often did when stressed or nervous.

I slapped his hands away. Trying to stop that annoying habbit myself, I knew how bad it could be. "You can't yet though. I mean, you've been hit multiple times by a club, used your powers to the point of fainting aaaand I might have falled on you"

"I'm trying to stop." Edwin commented on his nailbiting. He nodded for everything on her listen except for the last one. "Sorry I think I misheard that." Edwin asked her, since all he heard was she fell for him. //'m on my phone sorry so short

"I fell on you. Oh, right, you were passed out. Oops."I laughed and stood up, picking up my backpack. "I have some stuff to do, but I'll be back soon, kay?"

"Wow, thanks." Edwin said sarcastically. "Try not to get hit with a golfclub." he warned her and was reaching for his waterglass until he realized what happened. //timeskip?

Around noon, I trotted back in the infirmary, Frodo in my hands. "Wakey wakey, Sleeping Beauty" I laughed as I poked Edwin in the arm. "I brought you cake. Some guy in my cabin had his birthday and I managed to steal some"I mumbled as I pulled a small box from my backpack.

"I was never asleep anyways." he studied the girl closely, even though staring was creepy. He was never very fond of sweets but was warmed by the fact that she had brought him cake. "I don't know how the guy would feel about that." he continued staring.

"Me neither, I've never seen him before"I shrugged and grabbed a spoon, taking a bit as I proped my feet up on the chair next to mine. "So. The crazy goat"

"Let them eat cake." he silently quoted Marie Antoinette. What about him?" asked Edwin. He took his sketch book and started sketching her, eating cake.

"Dunno. Should we report him? Hunt him down an make his guts goat sausage?"I sighed as I took another bite. "I mean, seriously. That dude is nuts. He and his whole family of messed up goat mobsters. Why is Chiron allowing him to still be here?"

"Mhm." Edwin nodded not fully listening to her. "I don't think revenge is a good idea. It always turns the bad way. I say we just report him." he explained.

"Yeah. Maybe. Unless we choose to believe all the shit he said before he left. I mean, I had a crazy uncle. He kept telling us his house was haunted. There was a squirrel nest inside the walls. We found out after he almost burned the house down, but eh."I reached over for more cake but paused midair. "Aren't you going to have any?"

"No thanks, not hungry." he finished his sketch. "How the hell did I get tangled in this mess? I always avoid messes." hes sighed and closed his eyes.

"Suit yourself"I mumbled as I quickly finished the cake. "Dunno. The goat mafia must have been tracking down that freakshow and just happened to find him when we were around. Ew, I could be a goat's wife by now. Yuk"

"Please don't give me weird images in my head." Edwin said. "I'm gonna change the subject. Tell me about yourself." he asked her.
