"Booze" Brothers

Of course, it wasn't too long before Chips lost all sense of self-controlled and challenged Ian to a Rematch to the Death. Whether it was because of Chips's injured pride, his whole son-of-Váli-vengeful-nature thingy, or because he was simply bored, no one was for sure. All most einherjar and Valkyries knew was that it was going to be intense and that Chips wasn't looking for a repeat of last time.

Chips had already set up the cups on both sides of the ping pong table, each filled to the brim with his personal favorite: Snake Venom, courtesy of Brewmeister, literally the strongest beer manufactured on Midgard. Now he was just waiting for his friend to show up so they could start. His fingers were twitching rapidly against his thigh and, unbeknownst to Chips, mimicking the drum part from "Paranoid" by Black Sabbath perfectly. He wanted to smoke, but he'd finished his last ciggy that morning, so he was stuck with waiting for Ian to show up. He kept his sleepy-eyed gaze on the lookout for the son of Loki.

Ian had accepted the challenge Chips had given him. Too assume he wouldn't, would've been the worst mistake a person could possibly make. Ian Harper, did not, under any circumstances say no to a challenge. Especially if it was a rematch. He must keep his honor!!!! Even if it kills him! Maybe if he was actually alive he'd care more, but right now as a pretty much dead person, he didn't. Which is all the reason he was making his way through the doors of the lounge. "You ready for this?" Ian asked, looking to the man he was starting to consider close friend. Ian wore a small cocky smirk on his face, he was probably way more confident then he should have been.

Like a Ninja Valkyrie outta nowhere, Chip would hear a loud buzzing sound next to his ear. Standing behind him, wielding a electric razor, with an angry look on her face, was Fi. Her trademark hair was... well it looked like it was glowing, as if it was lava. Perhaps she's learned to broadcast her emotions in her hair? Or she's just found an interesting thing that lets it seem like that. Either way, the rage on her face promised doom for them. "I heard from the Vine that you two were looking for a rematch, so I went ahead and got some beer for it." A pair of Valkyries flew in and disposed of the already set up beer, replacing it with a new beer. They also set up a protection stand for viewers. "Have fun!" She'd grin. The Snake Venom beer was sure to make this a lot more entertaining, especially with the added combination of Spirytus Vodka. And their protection booth was impale-proof.

Chips looked over at Ian. "Uh....control your blud, mate?" he asked timidly, his eyes darting nervously over towards Fianna. The memory of their last encounter was still fresh in his mind's eye, and he wasn't looking for a repeat. "Bloody hell--what does she have against me?" he continued, whispering that last part.

"Fianna knock it off." Ian told her, rolling his eyes. When would she get over herself? Sometimes he felt he really couldn't wait for her to retire already and he wouldn't have to see her everyday. Maybe that was a bit harsh, but gods could he really be blamed for thinking it? Her bossiness was a hundred times worse then it had been when they were alive... He changed the beer back to what it had been before. "Come on, let's start before she gets anymore ideas..." Ian mumbled to Chips, as he picked up the ping-pong ball and tossed it to over to him.

She snacked on jerky and diet soda, as she and a few other girls had decided to watch. Truth is, they were bored and didn't have anything to do at the moment. But at least they could watch and see what might happen with this really strong liquor being used. They also were enjoying an opportunity to eat junk food in a safe place that wasn't their rooms.

Chips caught the ping pong ball and gave Ian a smirk that could only mean Bloody hell mate this doesn't look good. Sighing, he picked out his target and let out a nervous breath. Then he bounced the ball off of the table and watched as in landed in the alcohol with a resounding plop. "All righty, mate, best of luck," he chuckled half-heartedly.

Ian smirked back. Yeah, sure, he figured there was a large possibility he was going to lose this round. That could only be expected when challenged for a rematch. So Ian picked up the cup of beer, chugged it. Tossed it to the side out of the way and took up the ping pong ball. By the gods, that beer was strong. Ian could feel it in his head already. He aimed the small ball at a cup on the other side of the table, and tossed it over. He almost let out a sigh of relief as he watched the ball land in the cup, almost flawlessly.

She'd talk to her fellow Valkyries as the first beer was drank, and they'd giggle about the surprise that they had set up for the boys. More jerky was eaten, diet sodas were consumed and Licorice went wild.

Damon grinned feebly as he picked up the cup and brought it to his lips. It smelled....weird. Not like Snake Venom. Had Fiery Fi done something to the drinks? Eh, maybe he was just too worried that the evil twin was up to something. Shrugging the notion off as imagination, he downed the cup in a couple of gulps, like he would if he were drinking straight out of the bottle. He picked up the ping pong ball and bounced it off the table, watching as it went into another cup.

As it became apparent that their attempt had failed, the Valkyries would gather up their things and leave. Fi was left alone, and it was clear from the look on her face that she was quite livid. She gathered up the snacks and packed them away, plotting her revenge on the two of them.

Ian looked up to where his sister was standing. He smirked at her, as he chugged the second cup down. He was certainly not used to this strong of alcohol, but was surprised at how well he was handling it. He tossed the ping-pong back across the table, and watched it land in another cup.

Chips whistled the tune to an old Irish drinking song he'd learned back in his army days as he grabbed the cup and down its contents. Ahh....it'd been a long time since he had drunk anything as strong as Snake Venom. Sure, Stroh was good, but it had nothing on the strongest bloody beer in the world. Already he was feeling the buzz as he picked up the ping pong ball once more. He was actually surprised that Ian was keeping down the alcohol so well. It had taken Chips forever to finally get tolerant of it. Impressive. He bounced the ping pong ball and made yet another shot. He wondered how long this match was going to take.

Ian almost groaned out loud, he was starting to feel the buzz from the alcohol. He picked the cup up, and quickly drank it. He rubbed his eyes, trying to make the room stop spinning so much. He picked up the ping-pong ball up and tossed it over the table. The ball bounced off the edge of a cup, but landed on the floor. "Damn." He mumbled.

She watched, clearly bored out of her mind, as the two continued to play. She was entertaining a few thoughts, some of them violent, some of them not. Having this game banned was a strong consideration, and she knew a lot of the Valkyries would agree, since they were the ones cleaning up some of the times.

Chips didn't grin when Ian missed, though he felt like doing so. It just wasn't polite. He was pretty sure he was going to win due to the fact that he was just more tolerant to such a high percentage of alcohol whereas Ian had probably never had anything nearly as strong as Snake Venom before. Instead, he just simply shrugged. " 's all good," he reassured the younger einherji as he picked up the ping pong ball and bounced it off of the table once more. Though it first tipped the rim of the cup, the ball still made its way into the pool of beer inside.

Ian almost groaned in annoyance. He was already feeling the buzz from the last few cups, and he knew his aim would just continue to get worse. Last game of beer pong had been purely luck. He had a feeling that luck was going to run out. He picked the cup up and drank it as quickly as he could, then tossed the ball back over the table. The ball missed again.

That was then Fianna stalked up to the table, and in once swift motion, cut it in half with her axe, sending liquor flying everywhere. Fire was evident in her eyes, and her hair glowed as if it was molten lava, promising a painful ending. "You two are washing the dishes for the next two weeks. Have fun." And with that, she left them

"Fianna why would you ruin a perfectly good game like that?!" Ian yelled after her. His words slurred together, just adding to the point that he was even more drunk than usual. "Just retire already." He mumbled to himself, maybe he didn't actually want her to retire, but right now he was too drunk. He looked at the mess of the table and spilt beer all over the place, then looked up at Chips. "Is it salvageable?" He asked, maybe they could just refill the cups or something.

Chips gave Ian a sympathetic look. It looked like this kid was about to pass out at any moment. "Uh....the Valkyrie has spoken, mate. I guess we'd just better clean this up and call it a tie," he replied, though not without a hint of disappoint. He'd been looking forward to testing out his axe-throwing abilities.

"Hmm ok." Ian mumbled, trying not to sound as disappointed as he actually was. He had been enjoying the game, even though he had kind of already figured he'd be the one to lose this time. He sighed, as he bent down to start picking up the red cups they had been using.

OOC: I guess Dark's notifications thingy is screwing up again so I'll just go ahead

BIC:

"Don't worry, mate, we'll definitely be able to do it next time, mark my words," Chips replied when he witnessed the look on Ian's face. Well, he was pretty sure the son of Loki was sad. He couldn't be certain, though. He gripped the edge of the table for support. Only after they had forfeited he was feeling drunk. Typical.

Ian was extremely upset, of course if he was even the slightest bit of sober he probably wouldn't be this upset. "Definitely next time, I'll win next time. I was sooo gonna lose this time....." He slurred. He threw the last cup out, into a trash can. "How come people always associate red cups with drinking anyway?" He asked out loud, to no one in particular. Though if he got an answer he'd be ok with that.
