Wings and Beer

Liam spotted Gem leaning up against a wall as he walked up to the bar. He was glad to finally get a chance to hang out with him, they'd known each other for years and were close friends. Liam had never had a lot of time for many friends cause of all his training and centurion duties, so the amount of childhood friends that could deal with him never being able to do anything fun was a very small amount. Gem being one of only about five people who made it into that small percentage, that he still talked to. Even then this was really the first time in a long while that they had actually had the time to hang out, they'd both been busy with college and stuff like that. "Hey." Liam said, finally making it up to where Gem was waiting.

"Come on! You know I'm always ready for half-priced wings!" Liam said, smirking as he followed his friend into the bar. This bar had the best wings known to man, and Liam should know since he took his beer and wings very seriously. He followed Gem up to the front counter and took a seat on one of the many open stools, since there weren't that many people here.

"Honestly, not much more than usual." Liam told him, as he picked up the second menu even though he kind of already knew what he was going to get. "Anything new with you, other then Remy." He asked giving him a smirk back.

"Same." Liam told the bartender, before turning his attention back to Gem. "Nah I don't. Spill." Liam said. Usually he wasn't the kind of person to talk about relationship issues, he knew Gem really wasn't either. But hey if that was the only interesting thing in either of their lives, then why the hell not.

"Mhmm..." Liam took a drink of the beer that was placed in front of him, along with the nice large basket of wings that they ordered. He picked one out and started eating it.

"Must be a sign." Liam said, smirking at him. He took up another wing to eat, after taking a second sip of his beer. "Since whatever happened, never happens and all...."
