Cooking Fish.. And Fish... And some more fish.

Elissa pulled her large wooden-made bowl across the sand and over to the large fire pit so she could attempt to start dinner. She had already skinned and be-headed the fish, so all she had to do was throw them over the fire. From the food that had been gathered, she grabbed some lemon, today she was going to make lemon fish. She always tried to spice up the food, considering they eat almost the exact same things everyday, she tries to make things different. Today, she had also caught a few shrimp which could be great next to the fish. She had unpeeled those as well. She set twelve fish over the fire to cook, and then twenty-two pieces of shrimp and then leaned back in her wood and tree-leaved chair, watching the flames cook the fish peacefully.

Gabe walked into the general area of where Elissa was. He yawned, feeling sleepy. He planned on eating something, which he assumed Elissa would make for him, and then go swimming. He got really bored sometimes, all the island demigods really had were each other. He wished the gods could just send a TV and cable or something, if they weren't going to send rescue. Gabe walked up to her, wearing a red t-shirt and shorts. "Hey, whatcha making? Wait, let me guess, it's fish." Gabe sat down next to her. He admired her looks- while Gabe always felt like the fifth wheel, and he knew about Dart's crush, he realized if they were going to be on the island this long, Elissa and Reagan were free game. Of course, he knew Reagan needed a deep connection with someone to like them, and he thought of her as friend more so than Elissa. He knew it would never happen, though, and he didn't want it to ever come down to him being Elissa's last resort romantically.

Elissa laughed, leaning up towards the fish and turning them over. "Well, I found some lemon and some shrimp. So, somethings a bit different" she chuckled. Her stomach growled from the smell of the food, and she started to squeeze half a lemon all over the seafood. "How are you doing?" Elissa asked, genially concerned for Gabe's well-being.

"I'm doing fine, I guess. What about you, how are you feeling?" Gabe asked, staring at the lemon. "If you want, I could grow some vegetation right here and we could have some veggies on the side," he said with a smile.

Elissa set the lemon aside and flipped the fish and rotated the shrimp again. "We could probably use some vegetables. Yeah let's do that." She smiled softly at Gabe "As for how I'm feeling? Same as always really. As best as I can be, considering our situation."

Gabe nodded, understanding completely what it was like to be in their situation. He grew some vegetation next to them, and picked out a few tomatoes. He looked at Elisa with a soft smile. "This is painful sometimes, dealing with all of this. But hey, at least we all have each other."

Elissa grabbed the vegetables Gabe picked and started to sloppily cut them and throw them next to the shrimp over the fire. "At least we have each other" she repeated after him. She examined the vegetables as she placed them over the fire continuously "good idea Gabe" Elissa said, surprisingly, considering she wasn't one to normally take other people's opionions.

"Uh, thanks. This is weird, I never come up with good ideas, dude." Gabe laughed. "I suppose we should tell the others about the food, huh? Wherever they may be, somewhere out there."

Elissa shrugged, she made more than enough. She always did. "They couldn't wander far. The island is only so big." She responded to Gabe. She took the all of the food off of the flat cooking area, and then set it on a large plate. It was large enough to where she could put it all on there and they could be organized sectionally. Then she grabbed a small wooden plate and helped herself to a piece of fish, a couple of shrimp and some veggies. Her stomach grumbles from the sight and smell of the food. "Help yourself Gabe" Elissa said a bit excitedly, she always liked when she made and excellent creation with her food.

Gabe grabbed a few shrimp and a fish, along with the cooked tomatoes. He started eating, feeling very hungry. He stared up at the blue sky, saying a silent prayer to the gods, hoping they'd hear him and have some mercy- but that didn't seem likely. It hadn't worked the past 5000 times. "If we never do get off this island, what do you think you want in your future? Like, besides the obvious." He meant this a way to get some romantic vibes out of her, but he didn't know how that would work out for him.

Elissa picked around her fish, and then stuck some shrimp in her mouth. The lemony flavors melted, and made her mouth water more. She shrugged at Gabe's question "I would love to be a cooking teacher. The downside to this is that involves school, which we do not have..." she sighed, and then peeked up a bit. "I will probably just end up marrying a sugar daddy" she joked, and smiled at Gabe. "Haha, anyways how about you...?" She asked, curiously.
