Personality: Swamp is a very confident, bordering arrogant, teenager. He was very popular back at his mortal school and is used to being given a lot of attention. He isn't very considerate of what other people think and says what's on his mind, regardless of how others may feel. He has tendencies to be rather cocky and has an act-first-think-later mind-set. He's never cowardly, but he does have a fine line between bravery and stupidity. He may appear mistrusting and two-faced, but he honestly is just worried about being betrayed by new friends. He is a very loyal person and will do whatever he thinks is best for his friends--whether or not they agree with him or want him to.

Talents: Hand-to-hand combat, wrestling, boxing, Tai Kwon Do, driving away from cops, keeping down his alcohol, "lungs of steel" (meaning he can just hold in smoke for a long time and talk without releasing any smoke), playing Magic, shooting guns (shotgun, rifle, or handgun)

Flaws (at least three): Swamp is a complete dickhead. He's rude to girls, makes callous comments without thinking, and will cuss people out for minor things. He also will do anything to get high to where he's addicted to snorting glue and other common liquid materials.


Weapon (Celestial bronze/Imperial gold/Egyptian bronze): Swamp has a khopesh, his main weapon, but he also has a standard staff and wand.

History: Swamp was born to Anne Boggs-Pyle in Haines City, Florida. Anne was a descendant of the pharaohs and was once a member of the House of Life, but she had left in an attempt to seek a better life. In order to protect her son from his heritage, she raised him believing he was his stepfather's biological son and told him nothing of the gods.

Swamp was an exceptionally talented kid when it came to athletics, and so he learned several different fighting styles and competed in many different championship events. He was an all-state champion in his weight class for wrestling and was also the quarterback on his high school football team. He was a player and dated many of the most popular girls. His best friend had been Thorn, another popular kid, but later became Bus, a fellow member of the football team, once Thorn left.

He discovered his true parentage at a school dance when a monster attacked. Luckily for him, Thorn and his ex-girlfriend/then-date, Ari Scorpio, had been there to rescue him for certain death. The two magicians recognized him and Bus as Egyptian demigods and (begrudgingly) offered them a place at the Brooklyn House, to which they agreed.

Pets: A goldfish named Pedro, who speaks Spanish and has the ability to turn into a polar bear. Pedro had just shown up randomly at the Brooklyn House one day and has been in the companionship of Swamp ever since.

Likes: Girls, wrestling, playing Call of Duty, seafood, sports in general, annoying the Scorpios, causing miniature sandstorms in the Great Room, stealing ice cream from other trainees, and getting high

Former/current relationships: A ton of cheerleaders--the most significant being a girl named Jenna, a past bully of Ari's

How parents met: Anne had been hunting down a few demons when she met an aspect of Set disguised as a fellow magician. He seduced her, and Swamp was their lovechild. Anne never learned of Set's identity and ergo did not know of Swamp's demigod heritage, believing him to be the son of another magician.
