Personality: Ginny has always been incredibly hard working. When you live in a world that’s constantly trying to tear you down, you need to put in 110 percent to get somewhere. Regardless, Ginny isn’t perfect. She might be kind, and helpful, but she puts up walls. She will never tell anyone anything personal until she knows she can trust them, because she’s been burned too many times before. Her experiences have told her that people never change. No matter how much you want them to. Regardless, she always starts something with an open mind. She can be a bit defensive of herself. Her first instinct is to lie, for her own good. It takes her a while to trust people.

Abilities: Ginny can dreamwalk, although that’s literally all she can do. If she goes to sleep, she can only enter someone else’s dream, not her own. She doesn’t have her own dreams. Unfortunately, by jumping into someone else’s dream, that person’s body sees her as a parasite, and to get rid of her, it turns that person’s dreams into very realistic nightmares. Ginny has been able to prevent herself from dreaming through very careful meditation, but sometimes she still finds herself slipping into someone else’s mind. Usually she’ll go to the closest person, or someone she has an emotional connection with.
Powers: Ginny can make someone fall asleep. It only takes a touch. The sleep can last up to 6 posts, and she can do it twice every topic.
Ginny can also create a dreamless sleep. It also requires a touch on a sleeping person. She can do this once per topic.

History:
Ginny’s life starts with abandonment. The story goes that a young woman had given birth, and unable to take care of her, she dropped Ginny off at the closest safe place, Trinity Church. She hadn’t been found until the morning, where the staff member that found her thought she was dead because her lips were so blue.
After being released from the hospital with a clean bill of health, she was turned into child services, which put her with her first foster family. She lived with them for almost 4 years. Afterwards, the family decided they wanted children of their own and no longer wanted to foster.
Her next foster family was too large. She often got lost in the fray. There were 6 other foster siblings packed into a too small home. Everything was too loud, and too dirty. Child services determined two years later that it was unfit, so she got moved again.
Her third and final foster family was much worse than the others. It was her and two others. Their foster mother was very strict and controlling. Their foster father was a mean drunk. She and her foster siblings had strict punishments if they stepped out of line. These included withholding meals and not letting them leave the house, among other punishments. By the time she was nine years old, her powers began to manifest. It started out as small snippets, but then it got to the point where she couldn’t even sleep without having severe nightmares.
At the same time, she started seeing monsters around. Then they would appear in her dreams, eventually scaring her awake. She had already had a few close calls, and was terrified they would get her. When she tried to talk to her foster parents about it, they were convinced she was either making it up or hallucinating. They talked to child services, who sent her to a doctor, who assumed she had schizophrenia. After that she was sent to a group home for troubled children, under the title of St. Mary’s.
It was surprisingly nice at St. Mary’s. By the time she was 11, she was allowed to leave on her own accord and attend regular school. They always brought in people to get them involved in extracurriculars. One day they brought in a karate teacher for the less violent students. Ginny took a liking to it immediately, and the teacher, Christina Wong, offered her free lessons.
By the time she was 14, she was more advanced than her other students. She had even started helping her teach her classes. She had become her mentor. Christina had basically become her new mother.
One day, when Ginny was helping clean up the dojo, a student came in after hours. He revealed himself as a satyr and told Ginny that she had to go to Camp Half Blood. After serious convincing, and Ginny threatening to stab him, she finally agreed to go with him.
On the way there, Ginny came across a stray puppy that refused to stop following them. She decided to bring him along. Once she got to camp, she decided to name him apollo. She taught him how to act as a service dog for her, and how to wake her up if she has a nightmare. He also reminds her to take her adhd, and anxiety meds.
