Cohort 2 all the way

Sophia was laying on her bunk with her headphones in to keep out the noise while doing paperwork. Its not that the room was particularly loud, but outside noises kept grabbing her attention and really needed to finish filling out these forms for her and Christian's mission. They were leaving for Black Creek in two days. She had been spending a lot more time at barracks instead of at her mom's house lately, and she was starting to think that even after the family drama settled down she would continue to sleep here instead of her room at home.

Valerie Winters walked into the Second Cohort's barracks, feeling ever so slightly dizzy and somewhat significantly sick. She resisted the urge to vomit, she had not eaten anything anyway because she had not felt right. She looked pale, though all things considered this tended to be the norm after what she pulled a few days ago.

The daughter of Apollo had spent the last forty eight hours in the medical district as she healed an injured camper during a training session. Unfortunately, the nature of his injury resulted in Valerie passing out for a day. Finally released for the care of excellent medical staff, she made her way back to her home in amongst the second.

She spotted Sophia lying on her bunk and headed over to her centurion. Valerie called out a greeting, uncertain what the things were around her ears. "Hey..." Her voice trailed off, her mind perplexed by the headphones or earphones or whatever they were. To many, her confusion would of be strange as most teenagers knew what this technology was. All except for Valerie who thanks to a certain casino had been ripped from her own timeline and dropped into this alien future.
There was a note in the small teenager's hand, excusing her from training for today. Valerie stood a five feet tall, just. She had friendly hazel eyes and long curly dark brown hair. She was clad in blue jeans, black trainers and a purple t-shirt with a golden musical note on the front of it.

Claire Sparrow followed Valerie into the barracks. Valerie had over exerted herself when healing a camper. She is a bit unwell at the moment, but she should be alright in a few days. So, Claire was set on watching her until she got better because no one wanted a camper passed out in the middle of the walkway. While Valerie had the note to excuse herself from training for the day. Claire carried a note the explained the entire situation. Claire's long black hair hung freely down her back, she wore the basic camp tee shirt with jeans and running shoes. Claire's green eye's flashed kindly as she tried to get their centurion's attention.
"Um, hi," Claire said, she didn't want to disturb her, she looked busy, but she had too.

Sophia didn't have her music turned up to loud for no other reason other than these types of situations. She had heard the other two girls come into the barracks and had silently hoped they just forgot something. But of course that could never possibly be it, and Sophia soon heard them trying to get her attention. She put her pen down, and pulled the headphones out of her ears so she could hear them. "What's up?" She asked, looking between the two. The one girl, who Sophia knew to be one of the cohort medics looked a little pale, but the other girl looked quite normal.

It took Valerie a few moments to reply, her mind struggling to focus on answering the question when she found herself feeling both sick and curious as to what Sophia had over her ears. "I've been given the all clear to leave the infirmary but they do not want me training today." She said, trying her best to ignore the throbbing  pain in her skull. The cohort medic handed over the note explaining this, not that Valerie would ever of attempted to lie to one of her centurions.
