Muir Sinclair was doing the only thing he knew what to do to deal with emotions: beating the hell out of a practice dummy. The son of Dike hadn't seen Iain in days, but he could feel everything that he was feeling from wherever he was and it was driving Muir insane. If it would do anything, Muir would rip the stupid tattoo off his chest. Muir wanted to help Iain with whatever was going on with him, but he couldn't do that without finding him. One thing that Muir knew for sure was that if Iain didn't want to be found, he wouldn't be found easily. Muir hacked at an unfortunate practice dummy with his sword.

Cypress twirled his kopis in his hand as he walked inside of the arena. A few moments before he was doing some archery training with a couple of Apollo sons including Adriaan. He talked to him about what happened about a week prior. Cypress took in a deep breath and started to skillfully attack a dummy. He picked one where when Cypress would hit an arm, the other would rotate around and try to hit him back. To him, these seemed a bit more realistic.

Muir turned around and saw someone fighting with one of the skilled dummies and suddenly it felt like he had been kicked in the chest. More accurately, it felt like the tattoo on his chest had kicked him. Muir wasn't quite sure what that meant, but he had an idea. Muir quickly walked over to the boy, grabbing his shoulder and turning him around, placing his sword at his throat. Once he was aware that he had his attention, Muir sheathed his sword and pulled down his shirt and showed a matching tattoo to Iain's, both in design and location. "Are you the one who has been making this stupid thing light me up like a Christmas tree?"

Cypress' eyes were wide when the camper came up and had a sword to his throat. "...Y-you must be Muir." He said quietly, looking from his blade to his dangerous blue eyes. "...I haven't seen him in a week and I don't know what's up with him."

Muir nodded. "Yes, I am. I'm guessing that means that Iain told you about all of this." Muir said, pointing to the tattoo again. "What's your name?" Muir asked. He didn't want to scare the boy, but he knew his voice was firm. This was just as hard for him to understand as it was for Iain. He felt what Iain was feeling. He didn't feel it in the way he felt his own emotions, but in a different way. He wasn't used to feeling anything like this from Iain's end. Muir wasn't used to feeling much of anything from Iain's end. "Did Iain tell you anything about this bond, or... or his feelings?"

"H-he told me everything about how you two work. The bonding magic that keeps you two contacted..." The son of Demeter answered with a gulp. "And my name is Cypress. Cypress Magnaminity. Strange last name, I know."

Muir sighed, and took a few steps back from Cypress. "So you know that it is absolutely maddening when your κοινωνία is experiencing the pantheon of emotions every second and you can't find him." Muir said, a sense of panic in his voice. "The thing... about Iain is..." Muir started slowly. "How do I explain this to someone who hasn't known Iain for 12 years.... Okay. Iain's sense of feelings is dulled. Through everything he's done to advance his magic, especially the tattoos, he's had to give stuff up, and part of that was emotions. It's necessary to controlling the level of power that boy has. For him to feel anything, he has to feel it strong. So, the fact that I'm feeling things this strong from him, it's... it's big. I need to find him." Muir didn't mention that he'd felt this before from Iain, though. Cypress didn't need to know that Muir knew that Iain was in love with him. Iain couldn't know.

"Well I don't know where he is. After he kissed me, Iain zipped off and I never heard from him again. I tried going to his cabin, but he wasn't there either! I-I asked Salem, but she didn't know either." Cypress fixed his breastplate and looked Muir up and down. He could see where the attraction was. "...Wait, so when he kissed me--." He shook his head and tried not to be confused. "Okay, okay. I think I get it." Cypress rubbed his arm and sighed. "I just need to talk to him. We both do."

Muir shook his head and took a step back. "I can't see it. I can't feel it. I can just feel the emotion. Don't worry, it could be much creepier." Muir said with a slight chuckle. Muir looked at Cypress. "There is something else that you should know about Iain. He... He's never been with a guy. In a small town in Scotland, it just wasn't how things were. His older brother, though, he knew and he picked on him for it. It's why we are here, actually. He... He almost killed Alistair. His emotions got out of hand. I just... It couldn't have been easy for him to kiss you."

Cypress turned his eyebrows in and thought. "...I know how that is. My dad is totally against it so I had to keep my boyfriends a secret. That is until I came here. I knew that if I told him and if he didn't accept me, I wouldn't have to worry about trying to find a place to stay." Cypress bit his lip and looked down at their shoes. "...He literally pulled me toward him and kissed me. I never felt anything like that."

Muir laughed a bit. "He's a bit... liberal with his magic." Muir said, tapping at the tattoo on his chest. "Okay, so, here's the thing. Iain said that there was a way that we could track each other through this, but it might be... draining." Muir said with a sigh. Muir looked up at Cypress and swallowed deeply. "If we do find him, what are you going to say to him?" Muir asked, quietly. He couldn't let Iain get hurt by this. He might shut it down forever.

"Uh, I'll tell him that I want to see where things go and..." Cypress moistened his lips. "I honestly don't know, but let me try something. There's a toga that I wear when I want to feel all Greek-like that I think might catch his attention. You just have to trust me on this, okay?"

Muir sighed. "Y'know, I have to give you the if-you-hurt-him speech, right? Except with this one, I have more of a vested interest." Muir said, pointing to his own chest. "If you're not interested, please just tell me, okay? I can let him down a lot easier than you can. I just can't let this be the end all for him." Muir said nervously, tapping his foot. Muir walked over to his stuff, starting to peel off his armor and throw it in his bag. If they were going to do this, it couldn't be here. "There's one more thing, Cypress. If this does work out, Iain and I are a package deal. There is nothing, not even love, that compares to the bond of κοινωνία."

Cypress moistened his lips and looked at Muir, his eyes following him. "I don't know how I'm supposed to feel, but I know it involves Iain. He's just...different." The son of Demeter followed after him and stood beside him. "And I understand that. I understand how close your bond is with him. I'd never stand in the way of that. Ever."

Muir nodded and took a deep breath. "If we're going to track Iain, then, we're going to have to go somewhere a bit more private. I haven't tried tracking him before but I've been told that it isn't very pretty." Muir said with a sigh. He had promised Iain that he wouldn't do it unless it was absolutely necessary, but he was deeming this entirely necessary. Everything that Iain was feeling was so strong. Also, Muir was desperate to get rid of this killer headache. "I'll meet you in the north woods in about a half hour."

"Okay, I can do that, no problem." Cypress looked Muir up and down before taking a few steps back and without saying anything, ran to his cabin to grab a few things, out into the forest. Gods, he hoped that Iain was okay.
