6 months (private)

Spencer was at the lake, checking his phone. Today was his 6 month anniversary with Addie, and he was going to take her out with a picnic on a boat. It would be as romantic as he could make it, with no nuisances to get in the way. He wore a tuexdo, one he borrowed from his own father, and had a picnic basket full of food. The boat they were going on was prepared with heart balloons, candles, and tables. He also bought her a ring- he had begged his dad to let him get it. When his dad asked him "you really love this girl, don't you?" he responded with "of course, more than I've ever loved anyone." Of course, the moment would've been better without Shiloh and some boy in the background, and his dad's b*tch of a fiance there.

Addison walked up to the docks, her hair tied so it flows down the left of her shoulder in waves of curls. She giddily, almost skipping, headed towards the docks. The yellow and white flower sundress flowed behind her, and he white flats hit the ground steadily with every stop. Spencer had told her he was taking her out for their sixth month. She gripped the bag with the present inside tightly in her hand as she galloped towards the boat. As she started to she Spencer she smiled excitedly. Although it had only been about a day, she felt as though she hadn't seen him in forever. She grinned, still gripping the bag as she approached Spencer.

"Addie!" Spencer said with excitement and kissed her, spinning her around. He got the ring out of his pocket. "Here you go," he said. "Will you marry me?" he joked. "Nah, not yet, but on the journey there, here's a souvenir. I got it a week or two ago from the jewelry store, custom-made." It had Love you, Spencer engraved into it, and was pretty decent sized for what he could afford. "The boat's ready when you are," he said, pointing to the picnic basket. "I almost was late, Shiloh and my dads fiance got into another argument."

Addie giggled as Spencer kissed and spun her. When he let her go, her grin was so wide it couldn't have gone any wider. When Spencer pulled out the ring for Addie her purple eyes almost fell from her head, until he quickly showed it was a joke. She let out the deep breath she was holding in from shock. She would love to marry Spencer, but she was very sure that, that time would not be for awhile. She was soooooo not ready for that yet. She smiled at him and took the little ring out from the box and slipped it on her finger, admiring the little quote upon it. "Spence. It's beautiful... it's... perfect!" She said full of awe as she stared at the ring. Her eyes gleamed as she looked back up at him, "before the boat" she stammered "You have to open my present!" She grinned, holding out the purple bag in front of him, blue tissue paper was hanging out the top." Addie wasn't tooo crafty, but when she set her mind to something, she is able to create wonders. She had bought a picture frame, and decorated the outside of it, she had pieces from the scrabble game upon the top that had their names 'Spencer & Addison" hot glued across the top. She also had some dark ribbon floating off of it, and few more pieces around the frame to make it extra unique. Inside the frame was a nice picture of Addison and Spencer smiling, the lake behind them looking as beautiful as ever. She stared at him, waiting for him to open the present excitedly.

"I'm glad you like it," Spencer said, kissing her forehead and running his hand through her hair. He took her present, looking at her every so often in glances, telling she was excited for him to open it. He carefully did, and when he opened it, he smiled wide. A few tears formed in his eyes. "Damn it, it's dry out here, my eyes can feel it," he said, rubbing them. He hugged her. "I love it, I love you," he said and kissed her again before examining it again. "I know where I'll put this." He took the picture and went the direction of the boat, holding her hand. "So, our feast madam," he joked, and put the picnic basket on one of the tables. "I brought sandwiches, subs, chips, coleslaw, about everything at a picnic. Feel free to dig in, I gotta go get something."

Spencer went to the below deck, and soon came back with three chefs with cakes and pies. One had icecream. "I hope you enjoy," Spencer said and hugged her.

Addison grinned, happy that Spencer liked her present. She jumped up a bit, happily clapping her hands together. "I am sooo happy you like it, I am not that artistic, so I tried my best" she said with a shy smile. Then she followed Spencer over to the boat, her hand in his. When they sat and the food was presented in front of her, her tummy grumbled. She had realized that she hadn't eaten today, and then as the chief e.g. she came up with chocolate cake and ice cream, she came to terms she was going to devour Alll of the food. She reached for a sub and some chips delightfully, she put the chips on her plate and bit into the sub.

"It doesn't matter, what matters is that you put effort and love into it. Your gift is way better than mine, simply because it really shows how much you care." Spencer started eating a sub, and some chips, checking his phone. "Addison Virgo," he said with a smile and a wink. "I like it. I actually love it. It sounds good. Have you ever thought of what our wedding would be like? Like, give me an idea if you have, I want to start the rough draft," he said with a laugh, stealing a few of her chips.

Addison laughed. Then as she was biting into her sub, she thought about it. She realized she had never really thought about how a wedding would be like. Especially her wedding. "Um..." she said between bites. "Light purple and white seem like pretty colors together..." she said unsurely. She thought about flower placements and how a bouquet would look. But she was very unsure about the whole concept.

"I hear the uncertainty in your voice. Don't answer it if it makes you uncomfortable. I'll love you and be by your side forever, married or not, children or not. I don't think you could possibly love me half as much as I love you," he said and kissed her hand. "I hope if we do have kids, they get your eyes. I've always, every time I've thought about kids, imagined two daughters and a son, for whatever reason. It's like gender-swapped Virgos," he said with a laugh. "Hey, after the picnic, we should go over to my place and watch a movie or something. Shiloh won't be home, she's going out with Quinn and company, and Charlie's at some chess club thing right now."

The daughter of Hecate smiled lightly. "It's... er... not that, it's just that I honestly have never thought about weddings or children. Considering my last few relationships didn't last all that long..." she said the last part a bit under her breath. "But, I would love to marry you in the future. Because I do love you, and trust me, it's wayyyyy more than you love me" she laughed. She listened to his thoughts on kids and just smiled, she hadn't reallly thought about that either actually. "I guess I'm not a typical girl, thinking about Holstein and weddings and stuff" she shrugged. "But!" Addie said helping herself to come chocolate ice cream and a big chunk of chocolate cake "A night at your house without your siblings sounds amazing."

Spencer smiled. "Addie, I love you because you're not a typical girl, so don't think that's what I was alluding to. I'll throw us a big wedding, it'll be great. We'll have the best wedding ever. I don't care if I drain my life savings, if I'm making you happy, it's all worth it." He kissed her hand again. "Think about how great our future will be. I'm so glad I have you, babe." He kissed her hand a third time. "I think I love you more," he said with a smile, "do you love me enough to lick the floor of the boat? No, I'm just kidding, don't actually do that, I don't want your tongue to get HIV." He laughed. "Yeah, it'll be fun, like a sleepover but with candles, love, and nudity. I'm just joking, sorry, I'm a bit hyper right now. I've been worrying about making this perfect all day, and I'm so glad it worked out."

Addie eyed him suspiously as he was rambling on. She scarfed down her cake while her hyper boyfriend rambled on. She couldn't help but smile at him, yes, his ADHD was getting the best of him, but at the same time he was being super sweet and adorable. She finished her cake and sipped some water to help wash it down, and then she smiled once again at Spencer. "You don't understand how much you mean to me" she said to him "I love you so freaking much." She grinned "Let's have a sleepover" she laughed "With all of the above" and then Addie winked at him.

"I feel the same way," Spencer said and kissed her. "Well, damn, I must've did good for you to treat me to that," he said with a mischevious grin. He got up, done eating, and picked her up, under her arms, so she was above his head. Her feet were dangling just above his stomach. He then pretended to drop her, but caught her. "Gotcha," he said, kissing her, arms wrapped around her waist. He sat down on his chair, so she was on his lap, rubbing his hands on her back. He stopped the kiss. "You have some icing on your lips," he teased, then kissed her again.

Addison giggled as Spencer almost dropped her, but once again caught her. She beamed up at him, and she felt her cheeks turn red from happiness. When he said there was icing on homer lips, Addie tried to wipe it away, only to be interrupted by another Spencer kiss. She kissed him back, trying her hardest not to giggle. "Thank you for today" she whispered, as she pulled back from the kisses.

"Of course," Spencer said, resting his head against her's. "You really do make me so happy," he said, kissing up and down her neck, and moving their bodies closer. "Do you want to go to my house now?" he whispered in her ear, arms wrapped around her. "We'll bring the pie and cake," he said and laughed a little bit, as if he was trying to tempt her with the food. He rested his forehead against her's again, enjoying the warmth of her body. "I'm so grateful I have you. I could stay like this forever."

The girl in the pretty sundress laughed at her silly silly boyfriend. "I am so great full I have you!" She giggled. Then she slowly got out of the Soencers lap, and looked over at the pie longingly. "Pie mad hot tub sounds fun?" She said with a laugh, but also questioned the idea to Spencer.

"Sure," Spencer said, getting up. He grabbed the remaining pie and cake, putting it in tinfoil. He held her hand, carrying the stuff in the other. "This way," he said, leading her to his car. He got in. "You might want to hold the pie and the cake," he said, handing it to her and kissing her cheek.

Addison grabbed the pie and cake from Spencer as he led her away from the boat. She was very excited for her night alone with Spencer, she hadn't had a romantic one with him in a long time. While they walked, she attempted to kiss his cheek, it was awkward but she somehow accomplished it.

Spencer drove to his house, and took the food from her after getting out. "I don't see any cars around, so that's a great sign." He went the direction of the house, holding her hand. "Do you have any preference for what you want to do? Well, any preference what we're going on while our clothes are still on," he said with a laugh and wink, touching her chin.
