Friends for life (private)

Sophia thought for a moment. "Sure, or we could get out of this house and go do something. Like training or something fun." She says, smiling.

"I don't mind. It's what you want to do."

"OK! Lets go!"

Brooklyn followed Sophia to the training area, in the Coliseum. "Alright, powers allowed or no?" she asked, grabbing a sword. "Ugh, I don't want to put on this armor that sweaty people wear."

"Let's make it tricky. No powers." Sophia says, grabbing a sword and strapping armor around her torso. She pulled the helmet over her head, "I know what you mean, this helmet smells like smelly gym socks. Ready when you are."

Brooklyn nodded, with a smile. She put on the armor quickly and held up her weapon. She lunged at her legs off the bat.

Sophia smiled, and held up her sword to deflect the lunge. She took a step back, before lunging forward swiping her sword at her legs.

Brooklyn barely avoided getting taken town by Sophia's counter-lunge. She swung at the stomach, hoping to put her off balance by attacking her midsection.

Sophia gasped but caught herself just in time, she blocked the strike and pushed forward striking at her legs again, hoping to make her trip.

Brooklyn tripped. She put up her sword to block her next shot, if there was one, and then swung at her shoulder.

Sophia almost didn't see the swing, she ducked under the sword and then aimed the next strike at her sword hand.

Brooklyn's hand got hit, and she nearly dropped her sword. Getting a bit angry and frustrated, Brooklyn aimed right at Sophia's left knee.

The sword sliced through Sophia's jeans and cut into her skin. Sophia bit her lip, to keep her anger in check. While she didn't like to admit it, her anger usually led to a war rage. She took a step back, and a deep breath before aiming towards Brooklyn's right arm.

Brooklyn, getting a bit of aggressive momentum, blocked her shot at her right arm and kicked, aiming at her chest, and then used the hilt of her sword to try to hit her in the head.

Sophia used her hand to push Brooklyn's foot back away from her, she then quickly ducked away from the hilt and swiped her sword towards Brooklyn's hands, then again at her chest.

Brooklyn dropped her sword on contact. She fell back, feeling the hit on her chest. She coughed a little, then picked up her sword and all but tackled Sophia, putting the hilt of her sword against her face and attempting to push her over.

Sophia grunted as she caught the hilt with her hand, and dropped her own sword because of the force of almost being tackled to the ground. However now they were stuck in an odd position, and Sophia knew she had to act quickly. Sophia used her foot to kick the back of Brooklyn's ankles, hoping it was enough force for her to fall over.
