"That's something you should feel fortunate about." The son of Nemesis glanced over at her, then back forward at the ocean. "It's sort of like a utopia in a way."

"My dad." Koda said without hesitation. "I don't really miss a lot of my life prior to camp." He shrugged his shoulders and slowly closed his eyes. "Have you been outside of camp? Like to New York or somewhere else?"

"Aw, sorry about that." Koda exhaled. "Have you been to New Rome?" The Navajo demigod asked. "I've gone there recently and it's amazing."

"It's very nice there. They have more things than we do. Like, they have restaurants, a lake, everything. It's like a hidden city, really. I might move there after high school and when I'm done with camp." Koda moistened his lips. "Even though I lowkey don't like Romans."

"And they die sooner on average, and can't do anything special or have powers. There's a lot of things that make us different from mortals." Koda added on. "But Greeks and Romans have always had this weird tension between the two of us. It's almost like two exes."

"You mean hookups." Koda chuckled. "I love hookups too, but I need something real here and there, y'know?" Koda bit his lip.

The son of Nemesis tugged at his black shorts to fix them from bunching up. "...Wait, you've never dated anyone before? What are you? Asexual or something?" Koda asked. He was shocked that Mikaela, the daughter of Eros, had never had a boyfriend. You'd think that it would be a rite of passage or something like that.

Koda shrugged his shoulders and looked at over the ocean again. "I know I don't need one." The son of Nemesis shrugged his shoulders. "That doesn't mean that one doesn't appeal to me, Mikaela." Koda sighed heavily. "So you like having flings, huh?"

"I like those too. I do it here or there with guys that I like, but don't see myself with." Koda exhaled. "...Want to jump into the water or what?"

Koda got up and brushed the sand from his calves before slowly making his way toward the ocean. Once he was there, he let the water lap up at his feet and ankles before walking in more. "The water feels great!" The son of Nemesis called over his shoulder at to Mikaela.

"Hm?" Koda looked over his shoulder to see who Mikaela was talking about. "Oh, yeah." Koda gave them a very feminine wave before turning back to look at Mikaela. "I think I gave the one dude h*ad." He teased with a smirk.

"The one in the red tank." Koda answered with a grin. "I think he's bisexual, but I'm not sure." The son of Nemesis glanced over his shoulder again, then back forward at the ocean. When he felt that it was deep enough for the both of them, Koda turned around to look at Mikaela. "Have you gone swimming before? Here, I mean."

Koda chuckled, shaking his head. "Really? Shit." He chuckled more and looked back at Mikaela. "Oh, right. So, I guess you've done almost everything here at camp, then. Have you tried the rock climbing with the lava?" The son of Nemesis asked. Personally, Koda would never do that even if he had to.
