Romans come to Visit! [PRIVATE]

Bri waited on the top of Half-Blood Hill for the arriving Romans. Ever since the huge war with Gaea (that she was not present for), the two camps have been closer together and sometimes sent parties to talk about how each other is doing and to make sure neither is about to attack the other for whatever reason. Bri was one of the demigods on watch for the occasion, volunteering since she was bored and maybe she could make some new friends from Camp Jupiter, none of which she had ever meet before.

The daughter of Aphrodite had her strawberry blonde hair down messily and her armor over a CHB shirt and her legs exposed, only clad in some ripped and muddy jeans. Her celestial bronze sword, kalon, was strapped on her side and she had she shield on her wrist, walking back and forth with it swinging with her arm.

Over the horizon, she spotted the approaching group of Roman Demigods.

Finn was pretty much just the annoying kid he was, being annoying, like all the time. He was pretty psyched to visit CHB, he heard if you threw a knife at Mr. D, his d would fall of. Joking, joking, but he still wanted to try it. He was talking to fellow Romans about how excited he was to see what this camp was, as they pretty much just ignored him. When he hit the entrance, he stopped in the presence of the Greek guards. Finn was wearing a Panic at the Disco shirt with the sleeves cut off, and jeans. His messy, shoulder length hair blew in the wind (it was a windy day, aight).

"Hi, I'm Finn Reddy, son of Cupid. Are all of you guards chicks or nah?" he asked.

Bri narrowed her eyes at the son the Cupid. She expected the Romans to be . . . different. More strict than CHB like everyone said it was, but this boy, Finn, didn't seem like the army-style person she was imagining.

"Bri Jasper - Daughter of Aphrodite," She introduced. "I'll ignore the sexist remark. I'm here to show you around Camp Half-Blood." Bri turned and walked into the real part of Camp, signaling the others to follow her.

"Oh, I wasn't being sexist, sorry," Finn apologized, and followed her. He had to admit, even though he had Charlotte, he could tell through her armor that this girl had a nice figure. He looked around at the different cabins and such. "So, daughter of Aphrodite, huh? What's your sexuality? Are you single? If those answers are straight or bi and yes, then that's a good thing for me." Eh, he wouldn't actually cheat, just flirt, and be his Finn-ish self.

Bri rolled her eyes. This wasn't the first time she got some stupid advance and she just wasn't into the whole love idea. A silent jab at her no good mother is what will make her happy, not some pointless romance.

"I'm single and straight and ready to slice your throat," Bri warned before making her way to the Big House. "This is the Big House. We have any important meetings in there. There is also the attic, where a lot of creepy stuff is. I don't recommend you go up there."

"Oh, yikes," Finn commented, looking around. "So, cool, can I like, camp out in the attic for fun? Or is that type of activity not promoted?" he asked. "Legit question, I've been looking for some cheap thrills lately," he added. "Have you ever heard the song Cheap Thrills by Sia? That's like me in a nutshell. Are there snacks on this tour? I'm kind of hungry."

"No," Bri answered blankly to his line of questions. This boy sure talked a lot, she thought. The daughter of Aphrodite continued walking past the volleyball and basketball courts. "We play sometimes," She explained. "Besides training, there isn't much else to do."

Bri passed it without a complaint as she watched some of the demigods play some very intense game that she predicted would end up with someone getting a broken nose. They soon arrived at the Cabin Courtyard, which was surrounded in a long U by all the cabins.

"We're split up by godly parent here. Goddesses on one side and gods on the other. The three big ones at the top are the Big Three: Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades. They are pretty much empty. We have the main twelve and then all minor gods and goddesses. That's my cabin -- Cabin 10," Bri pointed to a pink Barbie dream house, which she absolutely hated.

Finn nodded, continuing to exam all of the cabins. With a tid bit of curiosity, he went over to one and looked inside, which he knew he wasn't supposed to be doing. He looked back at the tour group- no one seemed to notice he left (or maybe they just didn't care). He decided to check out the Aphrodite cabin. He went in, to a few confused looks.

After a few minutes, one of Bri's fellow Greeks noted, "the annoying Roman is gone. Chiron will kill us if we get one of the Romans hurt or something."

Bri rolled her eyes, almost arguing that it was unlikely that he was to get hurt, but decided against it and begrudgingly walked off back to the Cabin Courtyard to look where she last saw the Son of Cupid. She took a guess that he would be in Cabin 10, since that was the only cabin she told him about.

She marched up the steps and slammed open the door to the disgustingly pink house. "Finn, you in here?"

"Yeah, I am," Finn said, quickly getting out of the drawer of bikinis and underwear. He went up to her. "Oh, Bri the tour guide, it's you. Sorry, I got a little sidetracked, to be honest with you," Finn said, getting a pair of pink underwear off of his head. "Why'd you come back to find me? Do you have a crush on me?" he asked and laughed.

Bri gave the boy a disgusted look. "Of course, I am madly in love with you, now get out!" Bri said sarcastically before pointing towards the door with a murderous glare directed at Finn. "And say with the group or I swear on the gods I will send you to Tartarus."

"I think you're trying to pick a fight you can't win, lover girl," he tried to edge her on. "I bet you wouldn't spar with me though, you're far too scared of me, and besides, you're just a typical Aphrodite girl, anyway," he said with a mischevious grin. "Whatever though, since you rather just do the tour and hide your fear of me, let's get going."

Bri's jaw clenched as she glared sharply at the boy. She would never be scared to fight him. Of course he was taller, but he didn't look like some of the Ares kids she knew and she hated being called a typical Aphrodite girl.

"Fine then. Let's spar right now and I'll pummel you into the ground," Bri growled before yanking on Finn's arm and dragging him to the area, where she unsheathed kalon from her belt and closed her shield, making it a fair fight.

"Pick a weapon," She ordered, motioning with her head towards the rack of different weapons that were used for training. Bri was super skilled with a sword and knew she could easily defeat the cocky boy.

"I don't need a weapon to beat someone as weak as you," he edged her on more with a laugh. He planned on riling her up, and then using some love power on her to really screw with her. "I mean, look at your skinny little arms," he said. "You look like you belong in a magazine for pretty little girls, not fighting bigger campers, like Mars kids."

"Fine!" Bri dropped her sword, believing in a semi-fair battle before sending a round-house kick to the boy's face, aiming to break a nose. She was much more skilled with a sword and shield, but she was okay with close person combat and while she was fueled with rage? She was probably as dangerous as an angry minotaur.

Finn barely escaped her roundhouse kick, falling to the ground. He panted a bit, knowing how close he was to disaster. He got up and quickly wrapped one of his arms around her, but not in the way he usually would to a girl- he was aiming to put her in a chokehold. He, hoping it'd help, wrapped his legs around her too, trying to take her to the ground. At this point, it was instinct, not particularly him messing with her.

Bri realized something:

This guy was not a good fighter.

Not only could he barely dodge her kick, but his choke hold was like a toddlers. She leaped onto her back, crushing him against the ground before rolling off of him. She snatched her sword from the ground and aimed it at his neck.

"I thought you were a good fighter?" She asked, not as angry anymore.

"You obviously thought wrong then. I just wanted to see you riled up. And please, if you dont want me to get riled up in the crotch area, I suggest you get off of me." Finn said and laughed. "I'll give you two hundred dollars right here right now if I can see you in a bikini," he said quickly. "I mean, what? Who would say such a thing?"

Bri growled in disgust before pushing off the boy's chest and standing. She retrieved her shield and put it back on her wrist before turning to Finn. "It's going to be around dinner time soon, might as well take you to the Mess Hall. C'mon," She nodded out of the arena and started walking.

Finn laughed, and followed her. "Are you going to change out of your armor, dude?" he asked with a confused look. "Or do you just rock that shit like 24/7?" he asked. "I think we'll be good friends with benefits. We'll make out for fun sometimes, okay?"

Bri took off the armor and threw it on the porch of Cabin 10 when she passed, making a few of her siblings scream with the suddenly heavy object being thrown at them. Bri raised a slim brow at the boy.

"There is no way I'd make-out with you," Bri said as she hurried her pace to the Mess Hall, where she quickly went ahead of Finn and took a seat at the end of the Aphrodite table.

Finn quickened his pace to follow her, into the mess hall. "You totally would make out with me, don't deny it!" he said and laughed, sitting by her at the Aphrodite table. "Damn, you're even hotter without your armor. Oh yeah, I have a girlfriend."

Bri narrowed her eyes in confusion. She might have never dated before, but she knew the simple rules. You don't try to make-out with girls when you have a girlfriend. That's rule #1.

"Why would you be flirting with me if you had a girlfriend?" Bri asked, exasperated. "Sometimes, I figure typing a cement block to your leg and letting it drag you under would do you some good."

"Just to see how you'd react. I was never going to do anything, I just like being annoying and getting rejected, it's my thing," Finn said with a laugh. "What type of food do you like? It looks like healthy stuff, you're in great shape. Maybe that's just Aphrodite's blessing or training, though."

"Just think about what you want and it'll show," Bri said before a small box of orange chicken and rice appeared in front of her, making her grin. It was always her favorite food as she took a bite.
