Cassia shivered in fear of Lotus Casino. She had hear stories about it, and didn't want to enter. But it was not right. Hayden was being treated unfairly and she could not let that stand. She refused to let anyone kill him. "I'm pretty sure he came here before video games. Wouldn't he be at the darts, pool and card game?" she added. "Don't get sucked in. If we leave, and its already 2045, I'm gonna be so mad." Cassia pitted all the poor souls that wasted away in the casino.

Hayden was almost bored. Key word being almost, since he was in the Lotus Casino and eventually some server would come around and hand him another lotus flower and he'd be hooked to playing another card game... He had already played every single board game, and his feet hurt from dancing. The worst part was that he knew exactly what this casino was, his mom had told him about it before she stuck him in here, and told him to never leave. Man, he really wanted to leave.... At this moment though, a lotus flower cake/cookie thing was stuck in front of his face. He looked up at the server, bit his lip as he picked the flower up and took a bite out of it, knowing that the flowers made everything way easier.
His eyes widened, after swallowing. Why did he ever want to leave? This place was freaking amazing! He ran off, trying to find a game of Craps to join!

Her eyes scanned the rock climbing wall. She felt so drawn and eager to play something. No! It's a trap. Cassia reminded herself of this. "Let's go," she said to her partner. This section was quite crowded. It would be almost impossible to find Hayden. She didn't even know what he looked like. Cassia had an idea. She approached a random man. "Hello sir," Cassia said. "We've just arrived to see our dear friend. We promised we'd join him on this miraculous trip. But alas, we can't seem to find him. Could you point out where Hayden is?" She tried to sound like she was from whatever era this was. The man pointed them towards a young man.

Hayden was busy pulling a ton of poker chips towards his body, he was winning. Well winning was actually an understatement, he was dominating the five various cowboys he he was playing against. Of course on some level, he knew it was all a trick of the mind done by the casino, however he didn't really mind at the moment. He smiled. "Again? Any of ya'll wanna go again?" He asked, looking around at his opponents. He got a few nods, from the younger ones as the card dealer re-dealt the cards. He picked his up, glancing at what cards he ended up with. This was going to be a good round, he just knew it.

Hayden, glanced down at his cards. He had a pretty good hand, but he would wait to reveal until the money pit got a little bigger. Just cause, yeah winning money was a lot of fun. A server passed by with a tray of flowers, and of course he and his poker mates each took one.... or two. They were freaking amazing!

her heart is thudding in her chest as she approaches hayden. gods, this better work otherwise they are majorly screwed.

"hi, hayden?" she says, breaking in to the game and putting her hand on his shoulder. she hopes her monster hotel worker impression is solid enough. "you've been one of the lotus hotel's most loyal patrons and we were hoping you could give us some quotes for future advertisements."

Hayden looked up at the girl who tapped his shoulder. "Loyal patron huh? It's my first time ever being here." He told her, "Go find someone else, I'm in the middle of winning!" He told her giving her an odd look, that was a mixture of uncaring bliss and confusion. She was dressed funny, not like the rest of the casino workers. If Hayden has been "sober" and not under the influence of the lotus flowers he probably would have been maybe to tell the difference between someone who worked at the casino and someone who didn't. Instead, he turned back to his poker game so he could continue his winning streak.

"Uhh sure." Hayden said, while collecting his winning. He gathered the coins to his chest, "Just one more round, I'm on a winning streak!" He told her, falling for the promises of upgrades. He picked a flower off of a servers plate as they walked by and started eating it as he waited for the card dealer to deal out the next round of cards.

Hayden was really on a roll with this poker game, and as he placed his cards down on the table for all to see that he won this round he almost wanted to call for a third round but then he remembered those upgrades. "Alright, gentlemen, that'll be it for me for now!" He nodded a bye to the four cowboys he was playing against as he stood up and gathered his winnings. He could hardly fit all of the money in the bag the casino gave him to carry it all. Once he managed to do so, he made his way over to the funny dressed woman. "Alright, lets get this over with!" He said, "I want those rewards stuff!" He told her, with a crazy grin on his face.

"Sure!" Hayden said, not questioning anything that might be seen as slightly strange. He led her up to the tenth floor of the casino and into his room. Of course Hayden grew up in the 1700s, before electricity and all that stuff, so his hotel room showed that.

It was part of the trick of the hotel, why would they stick a kid from the year 1720 into a room with things that hadn't yet been invented? The room was decorated in things that were considered top of the line in his time period. A light blue wallpaper with a intriquite design of different shapes covered the walls, and the floor was hardwood with a large animal skin rug. The room was mainly lit up by a huge chandelier of candles hanging from the ceiling, but there was also an assortment of oil lamps sitting around the room. There was also a window that looked out at the casino. The room also held a large bed, a side table, a larger table in the center that held a tray of more lotus flowers, a large book shelf, a wardrobe for clothes, and a second door that led to a small bathroom, but we're not going to get into that right now.

"Uhh make yourself at home?" He said, not really knowing what else to say. He grabbed a lotus flower off the tray and started munching on it.

Hayden had to think for a few minutes, he picked up one of those lotus flowers that were sitting on the table. "Uhh probably about a few weeks. I spend most of the time in the casino," He told her, of course he only thought this was true, really it had been over two centuries. He took a small bite out of the flower, letting the magic do it's work. "Should actually get back to that poker game soon, how long is this going to take?" He asked.

"Three months? Nah not possible!" He told her, completely sure of himself now that the very yummy lotus flower was completely eaten, he reached over for a second. They were literally addictive, "Uhh you want one?" He asked, offering her the flower. He gave her an awkward smile, not used to playing host. No one had really come in his room, ever unless they were the staff cleaning, and he was usually at the casino for that.

"Uhh ok?" He said putting the lotus flowers back down on the plate, he hadn't met a single person who turned down one before. Maybe it was cause she worked for the casino or something... Yeah that had to be it... He gave her an odd look, "I thought machines ran on coal or water mills or something like that... What's a computer?" He asked having never heard of the word before.

"Uhh does it? Haven't noticed." He said, still smiling and still under the effects of the flower. Though, it was wearing off just enough for him to question what she was talking about. "This is a weird interview, I think I'll just go back to the casino now...." He said as he started walking over to his hotel room's door. He was actually quite curious to what this computer was that she was talking about, so he figured maybe he would try and go find it.
