Enchanted Fruit (p)

Cypress was honestly excited about his first official date with Iain. After the last couple of days, the two of them had gone through a boatload and emotion and drama thanks to a particular son of Eros. But aside from that, the son of Demeter was still happy.

Before Iain got to the forest, Cypress grew an apple tree so that they have something to lean up against. He made sure that there was a red and white picnic blanket at the base of the tree. On top of the blanket was a basket full of food that Cypress made himself just forty-five minutes before. To top it all off, Cypress was wearing a white toga over his orange camp t-shirt and green joggers.

"I have to make sure this goes perfectly..." Cypress whispered to himself as he straightened out the corners of the blanket.

Cypress didn't hear Iain walk into the clearing and jumped when he heard his voice. "Ah!" He quickly turned around to look at Iain. "Jesus! You nearly scared the apple seeds out of me!" The son of Demeter stood up from the picnic table and made his way over to Iain. He was happy that he was finally able to set his eyes on him again.

"Oh, well, that's okay. I can pin it up for you." Cypress smiled and gave Iain a kiss on the lips before taking the sheet from him, the African American started to pin the sheet onto his date. "How's Muir doing?"

Cypress bit his lip as he continued to put the toga on him. "...He likes me, right? As a possible boyfriend and all? I hope he does." Cypress could feel himself starting to worry. He wanted Muir to be okay with their relationship. The son of Demeter got up on his toes and kissed the back of Iain's neck before coming around to look into his eyes. "H-he has nothing to worry about, I swear."

Cypress' eyes got big. "Oh, you mean if we...were to hace sex." He cleared his throat. Cypress bit his lip. "I mean, I haven't really thought about us -- well, I have. I have since last night, but not really, um." Cypress rested his hands on Iain's chest and smiled a bit. "Anyways! Y-your toga is done." The son of Demeter took Iain's hand and led him back to the picnic blanket. "Sit, I brought us food."

"No, no. You're fine. Don't be nervous at all." Iain sat down on Iain's lap and smiled. "Here," He grabbed the basket and pulled out a fresh bowl of fruit. He picked up a raspberry and put it to Iain's lips. "You can say really dumb and embarrassing things around me. That's no problem."

"I want to talk about your embarrassing thoughts. Trust me, they can't be more embarrassing than mine. For example, at the campfire last night, I was afraid that you would fall into the flames..." He picked up another raspberry and ate it. "And I panicked when you were eating breakfast this morning when you coughed. I...thought you were choking."

Cypress smiled. "I can't help, but worry about you. It's kind of in my DNA." He laughed a bit and fed Iain another raspberry. "And you can tell me one of those embarrassing things. It's okay. Trust me, I don't judge. Like, at all."

Cypress's face became almost purple. "...Really? Oh" He moistened his lips and quickly stuffed his mouth with blueberries. After he finished chewing, the son of Demeter started talking again. "What have you been thinking about specially? Is there something that's been on your mind or...? Come on, speak to me."

The son of Demeter slowly lifted Iain's head up so that their brown and hazel eyes respectively connected. "Come on, you can tell me anything. You're a virgin so it makes sense that you have a lot of questions. You can ask my any kind of questions you need to, okay?"

"Iain, Iain," Cypress placed hand on his chest and kissed his cheek. "That's okay if you don't know what to do. I didn't know what to do a couple of years ago." Cypress tried to comfort him with a peck on his lips. "Listen, let's start with the bases." He cleared his throat and looked into Iain's eyes. "Uh, are you the...plower or the plowee? Or do you know?"

Cypress bit his lip. "Well, that's sometimes how it works out. Don't feel bad about it, Iain, okay? It's not something you should feel ashamed of." The son of Demeter bit his lip and sighed. "Well, I'm a...bottom. I hear I have the ass for it." He told him softly. "Are you okay with having this conversation? I don't want you to pass out or anything."

Cypress chuckled and decided to drop the subject. The son of Demeter fed Iain another raspberry, then ate a handful of the berries. He shifted his weight so that he was more comfortable and pecked Iain's lips. "You're going to be fine, I promise. So, how was your day?"

Cypress smiled widely and fed him a blackberry. "That's great! I'm glad you got some reading done and I'm especially glad that Muir approves. Aside from him being a bit scary, he's really nice. Cares about you a lot." The son of Demeter pecked Iain's lips. "And my day was good. No major problems, though, this Ares' guy nearly took my head off." Cypress laughed a bit. "And, uh, I was excited about planning this so, yeah."
